Getting started with Intercompany – Workshop

The Getting Started Workshop for the Abakion Intercompany app is designed to assist you in creating an overview of your project and setting up the initial connections between your Sales and Supply companies.

Configuring the Intercompany solution is relatively straightforward; however, creating an overview of product flows and cash flows and selecting the appropriate settings in the solution can be challenging.

We will assist you in defining your overall objectives for using Intercompany and determining the document, item, and monetary flows you wish to establish between different companies.

Workshop Deliverables

• An overview of the Intercompany app and its features.

• A plan for managing Intercompany transactions within your organization.

• An overview of the companies involved in organizational Intercompany transactions.

• An example configuration of locations from which the relevant sales company can pick.

• Practical experience with setting up a working connection between a Sales and Supply company using Webservices.

A better understanding of:

• The dimensions that should be transferred between companies.
• How information (e.g., dates and prices) is exchanged between the companies, with examples.
• How the Chart of Accounts should be mapped.
• Automation of transactions.
• Handling potential transfer errors, including managing the Intercompany inbox.

Important Note

Due to time constraints, this workshop will not include a complete setup of all locations, items, etc. It will focus on examples and proof of concept settings. For further consultation and training, please contact your representative at Abakion.
