Abakion Go – Migration of data

Get help from an experienced data consultant from Abakion to migrate your master data to your new Business Central. This Service is only available in connection with the purchase of Abakion Go. If you don’t want to do all tasks yourself, you can purchase this standardized add-on service.

We will help you with the task in the following steps:

1. We introduce you to the Excel templates, explain how they are used, and the dependencies you must be aware of. We help you plan the data migration.
2. This one is your task: You must paste your existing data into the Excel templates. You are typically the right one to do this, because you know your own data and your own company. If you have questions along the way, we are of course ready to help. When done, send the templates to us.
3. We evaluate the quality and validity of our data, and if we encounter minor issues, we correct them.
4. We import your data to Business Central, and we post all data in the correct order to make sure that you have the best possible data validity in Business Central.

How it works

After your purchase, you will reviece an email with extra import templates, and direct links to relevant videos. This will be followed up with a 15 min online intro meeting, to ensure you are familiar to involvement in the task.

Together we will perform steps 1-4, and finish with a 30 min. online meeting for final validation.

In addition to customers, sales prices, ship-to address, vendors and items, we can also help you with the migration of opening G/L balances, AP (open vendor entries) and AR (open customer entries), open sales orders, open purchase orders and bank accounts.

Timeframe

After receiving the filled Excel templates, the data import is executed withing 48 hours. If there are any issues with the data that needs your knowledge, this timeframe will be extended.
